Kalakas is an Indian word that refers to flat pieces of incense.
This incense comes from the Trat region and has a sweet saffron scent similar to the ancient Cambodian incense.
Trat region of Thailand is located on the border of Cambodia, which makes the frankincense trees in this region similar to Cambodian frankincense trees.
These pieces are selected from huge quantities and this grade of incense is considered difficult to find.
